The World Health Organization defines SDoH as "non-medical factors" influencing health such as "conditions in which people are born, grow, work, live, and age" and "have an important influence on health inequities" (World Health Organization [WHO], 2022, Social determinants of health section, para. 2). Understanding the midwife's imperative to screen for and address SDoH, this quality improvement project examined the screening practices for SDoH in a midwifery practice in an academic health center and implemented a workflow to standardize SDoH documentation. 000010021 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000010021 650__ $$aSocial Determinants of Health$$040530 000010021 650__ $$aPrenatal Care$$024566 000010021 650__ $$aQuality Improvement$$039456 000010021 650__ $$aMidwifery$$022307 000010021 650__ $$aRisk Assessment$$030914 000010021 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000010021 7001_ $$aHwa, Cassie L.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000010021 8564_ $$93ab427cf-b0a6-4ca8-9d58-e2f8c4279f2f$$s1963560$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/10021/files/Hwa.Cassie.2023.pdf 000010021 905__ $$a/rest/prod/5x/21/tg/35/5x21tg35h 000010021 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:10021$$pstudent-work 000010021 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
