Only a small number of faculty physicians compared to a larger number of residents have received some prior POCUS training. Overall, neither group felt comfortable with its use for diagnostic purposes or to teach others. All participants reported interest in a POCUS training program at their institution, both in-person and online. Although all faculty physicians and most residents felt their medical practice would benefit from POCUS use, about half in each group believed they would never use POCUS in the future. 000010084 540__ $$fCC BY 000010084 650__ $$aNeeds Assessment$$032368 000010084 650__ $$aGlobal Health$$027999 000010084 650__ $$aCurriculum$$017249 000010084 651__ $$aMexico$$041046 000010084 6531_ $$arural public hospital 000010084 6531_ $$apoint-of-care ultrasound (pocus) 000010084 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000010084 7001_ $$aFrink, Briana$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000010084 7201_ $$aSchwanke Khilji, Sara$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$7Personal$$eMentor 000010084 7201_ $$aLee, Brendan$$uThe University of British Columbia Mentor$$7Personal$$eCo-PI 000010084 8564_ $$9d63f6dd5-92e1-49f2-bf23-ffef8de08f38$$s468179$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/10084/files/Frink.Briana.2023.pdf 000010084 905__ $$a/rest/prod/cc/08/hg/44/cc08hg44s 000010084 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:10084$$pstudent-work 000010084 980__ $$aScholarly Project Capstones
