Dysfunction of neuronal M2 receptors is a mechanism for airway hyperreactivity in a variety of animal models of asthma. However, the poor specificity of available anti-M2 receptor antibodies makes quantifying M2 muscarinic receptors by immunostaining difficult, leaving unclear whether the diminished function of neuronal M2 muscarinic receptors is due to decreased protein expression. The aim of this project is to develop a novel method for measuring neuronal M2 expression in an animal model of asthma. 000010109 540__ $$fCC BY 000010109 542__ $$fIn copyright - joint owners 000010109 650__ $$aMice$$036842 000010109 650__ $$aAsthma$$015168 000010109 6531_ $$amuscarinic m2 receptor 000010109 6531_ $$aairway hyperresponsiveness 000010109 7001_ $$aHailemariam, Tseganesh$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000010109 7001_ $$aMaung, Jessica$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000010109 7001_ $$aNie, Zhenying$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000010109 711__ $$aResearch Week$$uOregon Health and Science University$$d2023 000010109 8564_ $$9842b21f1-bd7a-4007-86f0-4016a1bc129f$$s198781$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/10109/files/ResearchWeek.2023.Hailemariam.Tseganesh.pdf 000010109 905__ $$a/rest/prod/c5/34/fp/70/c534fp70n 000010109 980__ $$aResearch Week
