This quality improvement project aimed to increase the percentage of adolescents enrolled in the patient portal (MyHealth) from 36-50% within the span of six months. The project took place in a pediatric primary care clinic that has 1656 adolescent patients enrolled. Using two unique PDSA cycles this project combined the use of patient education, schedule scrubbing, and marketing materials to sign adolescent patients up for MyHealth. After each PDSA cycle we analyzed the number of adolescent patients enrolled in the patient portal as compared to the total number of adolescent patients. Although this project did not achieve the aim of 50% adolescent enrollment, we were able to increase the total number of adolescents enrolled as well as gain momentum for MyHealth enrollment across the clinic setting. 000010119 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000010119 650__ $$aChild$$016462 000010119 650__ $$aAdolescent$$014285 000010119 650__ $$aQuality Improvement$$039456 000010119 650__ $$aPatient Portals$$012051 000010119 650__ $$aPrimary Health Care$$024590 000010119 650__ $$aElectronic Health Records$$038928 000010119 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000010119 7001_ $$aHutcheson, Avery R.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000010119 8564_ $$99f25b3c1-abd1-4047-b6c7-4552d9ae524a$$s1563557$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/10119/files/Hutcheson.Avery.2023.pdf 000010119 905__ $$a/rest/prod/9c/67/wn/64/9c67wn64m 000010119 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:10119$$pstudent-work 000010119 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
