The objective of this research was to evaluate Veteran's perceptions of the implementation process and capabilities of the MyHealthVet (MHV) pilot program at the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center (PVAMC). The MHV program is a personal health record pilot project developed to give veterans online access to portions of their electronic health record. The goal of the MHV program is to improve the care veterans receive. This is a survey-based study to determine the factors in the MHV process that affect the success of veterans using MHV. The study specifically looked at whether or not the training that is given to the veteran's prior to taking part in the MHV program is adequate to achieve the goals.
