The US Preventative Services Task Force recommends routine screening for depression to improve patient outcomes. However, screening has not been widely implemented in primary care. Linking optical mark reader technology with an electronic health record offers a process to facilitate screening by reducing the time burden of screening. In addition, universal screenings can reduce the stigma often associated with mental health screening. I report a pilot experience with patient completed depression questionnaires interfaced into an EHR using OMR technology.}, url = {http://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/2253}, doi = {https://doi.org/10.6083/M4QC01SV}, }
