Many of these questions relate to the nature of the sequences on the micro array. To effectively analyze experimental data, it is necessary to maintain significant information about each of the 12,000 or more gene transcripts represented in the experiment. This thesis describes the development of a knowledge resource of DNA sequence functional annotations intended to aid researchers conducting microarray experiments. The resource includes an integrated data warehouse of sequence annotations for human and mice and data access tools for retrieving and utilizing the available information. 000002424 540__ $$fCC BY 000002424 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000002424 650__ $$aGene Expression Profiling$$032769 000002424 650__ $$aOligonucleotide Array Sequence Analysis$$032398 000002424 650__ $$aComputational Biology$$031511 000002424 650__ $$aData Warehousing$$012154 000002424 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000002424 692__ $$aDivision of Medical Informatics and Outcomes Research$$041423 000002424 7001_ $$aBobo, Michelle$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000002424 7201_ $$aDubay, Christopher$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$7Personal$$eCommittee chair 000002424 8564_ $$9e4fd9d5d-a820-4f99-93ae-a6169b7ba640$$s4579303$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/2424/files/3163_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$2f8e04bf74fa666595ebe21c640f6bb55$$31 000002424 905__ $$a/rest/prod/7w/62/f8/52/7w62f852k 000002424 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:2424$$pstudent-work 000002424 980__ $$aBiomedical Informatics
