This qualitative study explored attitudes and experiences of 16 senior undergraduate nursing students regarding pressure ulcer prevention (PUP) using semi-structured interviews. Six themes emerged, highlighting gaps in PUP education and the need for evidence-based, hands-on learning strategies. Findings suggest nursing curricula should integrate immersive clinical experiences and collaboration with wound care specialists to improve PUP knowledge and patient outcomes. 000002749 540__ $$fCC BY 000002749 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000002749 650__ $$aPressure Ulcer$$017428 000002749 650__ $$aAttitude of Health Personnel$$015206 000002749 650__ $$aEducation, Nursing, Baccalaureate$$018230 000002749 650__ $$aEducation, Nursing$$018228 000002749 650__ $$aStudents, Nursing$$026493 000002749 6531_ $$abedsores 000002749 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000002749 7001_ $$aGarrigues, Layla$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000002749 7201_ $$aCartwright, Juliana$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$7Personal$$eChair 000002749 8564_ $$954f2a145-0136-4640-a135-d366feadb19d$$s1939602$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/2749/files/3511_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$2ebf02415dda701ea603aeae063b2b1eb$$31 000002749 905__ $$a/rest/prod/jw/82/7b/86/jw827b869 000002749 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:2749$$pstudent-work 000002749 956__ $$aGet Accessible Copy$$uhttps://ohsu.libwizard.com/f/requestaccessibledocument 000002749 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
