000002749 520__ $$aPressure ulcers remain a significant and costly issue for patients with impaired mobility, and nurses play a critical role in prevention through education and clinical practice. This qualitative study explored attitudes and experiences of 16 senior undergraduate nursing students regarding pressure ulcer prevention (PUP) using semi-structured interviews. Six themes emerged, highlighting gaps in PUP education and the need for evidence-based, hands-on learning strategies. Findings suggest nursing curricula should integrate immersive clinical experiences and collaboration with wound care specialists to improve PUP knowledge and patient outcomes.
