Maternal diet, particularly fat and energy intake, is a modifiable risk factor, yet its relationship to glucose homeostasis during pregnancy and infant birth weight remains unclear. This study analyzed data from the OHSU Pregnancy Exercise & Nutrition Study to examine associations between maternal dietary fat and energy intake, glucose regulation across trimesters, and infant birth weight using dietary recalls and biomarkers of glucose control. Findings aim to clarify dietary influences on GDM risk and inform nutritional strategies for pregnancy. 000002751 540__ $$fCC BY 000002751 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000002751 650__ $$aMaternal Nutritional Physiological Phenomena$$034957 000002751 650__ $$aDietary Fats$$017785 000002751 650__ $$aDiet$$017776 000002751 650__ $$aBlood Glucose$$015661 000002751 650__ $$aBirth Weight$$015600 000002751 650__ $$aPregnancy$$024523 000002751 650__ $$aDiabetes, Gestational$$029281 000002751 650__ $$aFatty Acids, Essential$$018912 000002751 650__ $$aFats, Unsaturated$$018910 000002751 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000002751 692__ $$aGraduate Programs in Human Nutrition$$041470 000002751 7001_ $$aGlaize, Lucille$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000002751 8564_ $$9cc32c357-1358-488f-9d6d-017cb24f2150$$s1869419$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/2751/files/3509_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$280fc0af1f98ea7ea07bfeafc38e42ae7$$31 000002751 905__ $$a/rest/prod/0z/70/8w/50/0z708w50m 000002751 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:2751$$pstudent-work 000002751 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
