This randomized clinical study aimed to compare the bacterial plaque levels surrounding two bracket systems, self‑ligating (SL) and elastomeric‑ligating (E), and to evaluate whether ATP‑driven bioluminescence can serve as a rapid method for assessing plaque bacterial load.
