While most efforts and analysis have been focused on providing such access in the outpatient setting comparatively little is known about the impacts in the inpatient setting.. Furthermore, in a country like Argentina with its own healthcare model where no such access, in either inpatient or outpatient settings, has ever been given before, at any level, implementing open progress notes will require a systematic approach that considers providers fears and expectations. This qualitative study explores Internists’ general perceptions on opening progress notes to patients during inpatient hospitalization. 000002975 540__ $$fCC BY 000002975 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000002975 650__ $$aMedical Records$$021947 000002975 650__ $$aElectronic Health Records$$038928 000002975 650__ $$aMedical Informatics$$021938 000002975 650__ $$aHealth Records, Personal$$038539 000002975 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000002975 692__ $$aDepartment of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology$$041422 000002975 7001_ $$aAlmerares, Alfredo$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000002975 7201_ $$aFletcher, Justin$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$7Personal$$eAdvisor 000002975 8564_ $$97f7d4db5-48a4-40e9-b1a9-5e8d9185706d$$s876940$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/2975/files/3749_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$222e186782cdfc137b69f60f81f5fe489$$31 000002975 905__ $$a/rest/prod/h1/28/nd/92/h128nd92c 000002975 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:2975$$pstudent-work 000002975 980__ $$aBiomedical Informatics
