Providers commonly spend a great deal of time on administrative tasks and paperwork that do not require their level of training. A review of the literature suggested several ideas to improve office workflow and decrease provider burnout. To date, there are no published studies that have implemented strategies to test their effectiveness in improving workflow. This study implemented selected interventions from the literature in a small primary care office and administered a pre- and post-intervention survey to measure the interventions’ effects on job satisfaction and productivity. This project was unique in studying the effects of implementing specific interventions from the literature into a practice and attempting to determine whether the effect was significant. 000003003 650__ $$aBurnout, Professional$$015909 000003003 650__ $$aDelivery of Health Care$$017452 000003003 650__ $$aOffice Management$$023166 000003003 650__ $$aNurse Practitioners$$023075 000003003 650__ $$aPrimary Health Care$$024590 000003003 650__ $$aWorkflow$$038890 000003003 650__ $$aJob Satisfaction$$021115 000003003 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000003003 7001_ $$aRobinson, Michael$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000003003 8564_ $$9562d2e3f-7719-401b-b471-c12bc048ddf5$$s340532$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/3003/files/3806_etd.pdf 000003003 905__ $$a/rest/prod/4j/03/cz/89/4j03cz89r 000003003 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:3003$$pstudent-work 000003003 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
