This is particularly true for mental healthcare providers working in correctional settings. A literature search on available psychological tests and screening tools to detect malingering is presented, as well as specialized assessment techniques and ethical and legal implications of their use. A proposed quality improvement project is also discussed, with emphasis on conducting a staff training and implementing the Miller Forensic Assessment of Symptoms Test (M-FAST) to improve detection of malingering and access to care for those with genuine mental health needs.}, number = {ETD}, doi = {https://doi.org/10.6083/8QT230}, recid = {3080}, address = {2018-05-01}, }
