TY - GEN N2 - Health care organizations are becoming increasingly aware of the impact of patient care on those who provide it. Regular exposure to trauma and stress has both a mental and physical impact on the human body. This exposure is an inherent risk associated with working in the health care field, and an even more common experience when looking at the mental health field. This project uses mindfulness and relaxation tools implemented during the work day to address this stress and trauma that staff experience.
