They address health from a variety of perspectives such as personal risk factors, exercise, nutrition, and stress. A trend to incorporate worker well-being into occupational health and safety efforts has also been underway. The model calls for consideration of worker health beyond the four traditional areas of hazard and exposure control, work organization, the built environment, and compensation and benefits. This model was chosen as a guide for a quality improvement project to improve utilization of primary care services within a manufacturing plant by integrating occupational health and primary care. The quality improvement project employed Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles. 000003086 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000003086 650__ $$aOccupational Health$$029022 000003086 650__ $$aPrimary Health Care$$024590 000003086 650__ $$aQuality Improvement$$039456 000003086 650__ $$aManufacturing and Industrial Facilities$$012031 000003086 650__ $$aBuilt Environment$$012595 000003086 650__ $$aRisk Factors$$025522 000003086 650__ $$aPolicy$$038967 000003086 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000003086 7001_ $$aOndetti, Giselle$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000003086 8564_ $$91ac6df46-705f-4daf-b4c5-9a5cb3ca86e7$$s90816$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/3086/files/4041_etd.pdf 000003086 905__ $$a/rest/prod/7d/27/8t/24/7d278t245 000003086 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:3086$$pstudent-work 000003086 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
