However, research on implementation of SBI has revealed that physicians are reluctant to employ this tool, citing several barriers. Among these barriers are negative attitudes toward patients with AOD disorders. These negative attitudes have also been found in medical students. The aim of this study was to assess the association between medical students’ year in medical training, expected specialty and personal experience with substance use and attitudes towards patients with AOD disorders. 000000381 540__ $$fCC BY 000000381 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000000381 650__ $$aSubstance-Related Disorders$$032029 000000381 650__ $$aStudents, Medical$$026492 000000381 650__ $$aPhysician-Patient Relations$$024113 000000381 650__ $$aCrisis Intervention$$017195 000000381 650__ $$aHealth Knowledge, Attitudes, Practice$$021234 000000381 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000000381 692__ $$aDepartment of Public Health and Preventive Medicine$$041444 000000381 7001_ $$aButi, Allison$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000000381 8564_ $$91942f84e-1edd-4c47-ab87-09d5aadf15af$$s284119$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/381/files/382_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$2999fe69d1df06187c8d4093cb253df36$$31 000000381 905__ $$a/rest/prod/fx/71/9m/45/fx719m45s 000000381 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:381$$pstudent-work 000000381 956__ $$aGet Accessible Copy$$uhttps://ohsu.libwizard.com/f/requestaccessibledocument 000000381 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
