AB  - In Winter 2023 the School of Dentistry began a pilot program to track clinical assessment of learners through a digital platform called Smartsheets. The rationale for choosing Smartsheets included a need to (1) move student assessment data outside a system attached to the patient record (aXium) and (2) utilize a tool available at OHSU. While Smartsheets has been used as a data collection tool in health science fields, it has not been utilized as a clinical assessment tracker, to the knowledge of the presenters. The presenters will demonstrate how Smartsheets was set up to collect and display data and discuss initial findings of the pilot, including setbacks, challenges, and successes. The presenters also aim to raise awareness for other programs regarding the potential uses of this tool.
