As such, it can be difficult to order the chapters of an introduction. Placing the structure before the function grounds discussion of mutations and disease, but leaves the structure unmoored from biomedical relevance. Conversely, placing function first leaves the reader without a clear understanding of which do-mains are important for which reasons, which is vital for a focused discussion of the protein. To dodge the question of which is the cart and which is the course, I present here an exceedingly brief (and less heavily cited) discussion of ENaC structure and function. 000042004 540__ $$fCC BY 000042004 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000042004 650__ $$aIon Channels$$021013 000042004 650__ $$aCryoelectron Microscopy$$032293 000042004 650__ $$aBlood Pressure$$015669 000042004 6531_ $$astructural biochemistry 000042004 6531_ $$asize exclusion chromatography 000042004 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000042004 692__ $$aDepartment of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology$$041396 000042004 7001_ $$aPosert, Richard 000042004 7201_ $$aBaconguis, Isabelle$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$eAdvisor$$7Personal 000042004 8564_ $$99a747ee1-9ffc-4e88-ac1c-59dac8aae999$$s56006064$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/42004/files/Posert.Rich.2023.pdf 000042004 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:42004$$pstudent-work 000042004 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations 000042004 981__ $$aPublished$$b2023-09-21
