TY - GEN N2 - This DNP project developed and delivered a healthcare training on transgender health for primary care staff. Pre- and post-intervention surveys showed improved knowledge and comfort in caring for transgender and gender diverse (TGD) patients and overall, participants found the session helpful. These results support literature recommendations and advocate for similar trainings to address health disparities and healthcare barriers for TGD patients.
