Conducting epidemiologic research is critical for understanding the magnitude of, and specific factors contributing to, child maltreatment within specific populations. This project identifies factors that put Oregon children at increased risk of maltreatment, with a focus on those that could be mitigated through intervention in the pre-birth or early childhood periods. The socioecological model is used as an integrative framework for conceptualizing the array of identified factors. 000042729 540__ $$fCC BY 000042729 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000042729 650__ $$aChild Abuse$$016463 000042729 650__ $$aSocioeconomic Factors$$026134 000042729 651__ $$aOregon$$041094 000042729 6531_ $$achild maltreatment 000042729 6531_ $$apregnancy risk assessment monitoring system 000042729 6531_ $$aearly childhood 000042729 6531_ $$apre-birth 000042729 691__ $$aOHSU-PSU School of Public Health$$041366 000042729 7001_ $$aNewby-Kew, Abigail$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$10000-0003-0720-6506 000042729 789__ $$eReferences$$w10.1016/j.annepidem.2023.04.020$$2DOI 000042729 792__ $$aNewby-Kew A, Marshall LM, Zane S, Putz JW, Parrish JW.
