The birth plan was offered in both standard prenatal care visits and group prenatal care settings in a midwifery practice in an academic hospital in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to creating a trauma-informed birth plan, the goal of this project was to understand midwives’ impressions of its function in prenatal and intrapartum care and optimal workflow of integrating the birth plan into an active midwifery practice. 000042730 540__ $$fCC BY 000042730 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000042730 650__ $$aNurse Midwives$$023074 000042730 650__ $$aLive Birth$$036399 000042730 650__ $$aMidwifery$$022307 000042730 650__ $$aBirth Setting$$012633 000042730 650__ $$aPrenatal Care$$024566 000042730 6531_ $$abirth 000042730 6531_ $$abirth plan 000042730 6531_ $$atrauma informed 000042730 6531_ $$agroup prenatal care 000042730 6531_ $$amidwife 000042730 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000042730 7001_ $$aBlodgett, Kensie$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$10000-0002-8257-7799 000042730 7201_ $$aHersh, Sally$$uOHSU & VA Portland Health Care System$$041347$$eCommittee chair$$7Personal 000042730 7201_ $$aKroening-Roche, Olivia$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$eCommittee member$$7Personal 000042730 7201_ $$aMegregian, Michele$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$eCommittee member$$7Personal 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$wdoi.org/10.1111/jmwh.13476$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1097/AOG.0000000000003186$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1891/1058-1243.28.1.10$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1097/01.aoa.0000547317.02096.73$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1186/s12884-022-05199-5$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1037/ser0000315$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1016/j.nwh.2022.01.001$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.3389/fpsyt.2018.00409$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1016/j.midw.2022.103388$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1624/105812403X106784$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1002/ajcp.12388$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1016/j.midw.2017.07.020$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1111/jmwh.13063$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1016/j.midw.2023.103625$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1177/1077559516635274$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.3390/ijerph18020456$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1016/j.pedn.2021.04.029$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1624/105812407X217985$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0274240$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1016/j.wombi.2020.10.002$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1016/j.nwh.2022.01.001$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1111/birt.12226$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1186/s12884-022-05305-7$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1016/j.midw.2020.102643$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1136/bmjqs-2015-004480$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1093/eurpub/ckz095.007$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.3390/children8111061$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.3418/jjam.25.27$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1111/jocn.13727$$2DOI 000042730 789__ $$eCites$$whttps://doi.org/10.1111/jmwh.12674$$2DOI 000042730 792__ $$a1.
