TY - GEN AB - Trauma secondary to abuse and neglect is prevalent among the pediatric population, especially among children younger than 4 years old and those with disabilities. Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) is one way to help mitigate the effects of trauma and prevent further psychological damage, yet many providers are not confident in how to implement TIC.
