clinical practice face unique challenges such as increased autonomy, separation from peers, isolation, 
and feelings of uncertainty in their new role. Lack of practical and emotional support when transitioning to a new role and facility can lead to burnout, job dissatisfaction, and turnover.  A formal mentorship program is critical to successfully bridging the gap between the education process and the professional world. This needs assessment project aims to identify the need for a formal mentorship program for Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) new graduate CRNAs.
