However, epidemiologic and clinical evidence focused specifically on twin pregnancies and children remains scant. Early childhood weight trajectory has been studied extensively among singleton children, with results largely supporting an association with numerous downstream health outcomes including overweight and obesity in childhood and adulthood. Minimal evidence in this topic exists for twin children. In this dissertation, I explore normal early childhood weight trajectory and its association with gestational weight gain and with childhood body mass index in twins compared to singletons. 000042948 540__ $$fCC BY 000042948 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000042948 650__ $$aTwins$$027517 000042948 650__ $$aChild Health$$011172 000042948 650__ $$aGrowth and Development$$036136 000042948 650__ $$aEpidemiology$$018518 000042948 650__ $$aMaternal Health$$011211 000042948 6531_ $$atwinning 000042948 6531_ $$amaternal and child health 000042948 6531_ $$agrowth patterns 000042948 691__ $$aOHSU-PSU School of Public Health$$041366 000042948 7001_ $$aBooman, Anna$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$10000-0002-8112-6929 000042948 8564_ $$90c93d1c3-2465-40e2-8322-a7c4fbd37fe8$$s4179575$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/42948/files/Booman.Anna.2024.pdf 000042948 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:42948$$pstudent-work 000042948 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations 000042948 981__ $$aPublished$$b2024-05-31
