While it is conventionally known that data inform change, the process can sometimes feel unclear to students and unsustainable to faculty and staff since time constraints are a known barrier for any project. While quantitative data from assessments can be automated to support rapid analyses, qualitative data from these same instruments (e.g., student perspectives found in open prompts) take more time to analyze, which can potentially delay changes or their time to analysis and implementation. Together, the interprofessional course structure offers an opportunity to align student training and applied research for iteratively improving education and curriculum improvement, while curating a set of collaborative processes for guiding ongoing work. 000042964 540__ $$fCC BY 000042964 542__ $$fIn copyright - joint owners 000042964 650__ $$aProblem-Based Learning$$031098 000042964 650__ $$aQualitative Research$$034737 000042964 650__ $$aHealth Equity$$011457 000042964 650__ $$aCurriculum$$017249 000042964 650__ $$aStudents$$026489 000042964 6531_ $$aequity-minded assessment 000042964 6531_ $$aworkforce development 000042964 691__ $$aOHSU-PSU School of Public Health$$041366 000042964 7001_ $$aYarnold, Jesse$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000042964 7001_ $$aGautom, Priyanka$$uPortland State University$$041357 000042964 7001_ $$aIto, Sydney$$uAdventist Health Portland 000042964 7001_ $$aDunlap, Clare$$uUniversity Of Utah Health 000042964 7001_ $$aWinders, Bradie$$uNew York State Department of Health 000042964 7001_ $$aLanford, Rebecca$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000042964 7001_ $$aMarsh, Trisha$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000042964 7001_ $$aCordova Nicolas, Karla$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000042964 7001_ $$aZhou, Felicia$$uPortland State University$$041357 000042964 7001_ $$aPoole, Juniper$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000042964 7001_ $$aJones, Jamie$$uPortland State University$$041357 000042964 7001_ $$aJones, Adri$$uPortland State University$$041357 000042964 7001_ $$aGillespie, Lydia$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000042964 8564_ $$90776497b-f697-48c8-b256-ce46258e2f9c$$s420884$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/42964/files/Abstract_SEE2024_YarnoldJesse.pdf 000042964 980__ $$aOHSU Symposium on Educational Excellence (SEE)
