There is limited outpatient POCUS experience for internal medicine residents and preceptors as well as no standardized education. There is often a learner-supervisor knowledge gap given the only recent introduction of POCUS into medication education. Furthermore, there are gaps in knowledge about the ideal curriculum targeted towards trainees versus faculty ' how to balance didactic/hands on time, how to perform ongoing quality assurance, and so on. The goal of this preliminary study is to develop and begin to deliver an ambulatory POCUS curricula for residents and faculty preceptors. 000042965 540__ $$fCC BY 000042965 542__ $$fIn copyright - joint owners 000042965 650__ $$aPrimary Health Care$$024590 000042965 650__ $$aCurriculum$$017249 000042965 650__ $$aInternal Medicine$$020929 000042965 650__ $$aInternship and Residency$$020937 000042965 650__ $$aOutpatients$$023380 000042965 650__ $$aPatient Care$$019442 000042965 6531_ $$aPOCUS 000042965 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000042965 692__ $$aDivision of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics$$041460 000042965 7001_ $$aSchnure, Nilan$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000042965 7001_ $$aBeam, Michelle$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000042965 7001_ $$aLeite-Ah Yo, Kaahukane$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000042965 8564_ $$95abfedd4-6ce9-40c6-9a17-a6966241deae$$s501584$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/42965/files/Abstract_SEE2024_SchnureNilan.pdf 000042965 980__ $$aOHSU Symposium on Educational Excellence (SEE)
