In murine models of CHIP with Tet2 deletion, the proinflammatory cytokine IL1β promotes the expansion of pro-inflammatory monocytes/macrophages and hinder demethylation of enhancers and transcription factor binding sites associated with lymphoid and erythroid differentiation. This work suggests that IL1β enhances the self-renewing ability of Tet2-deficient HSPCs by upregulating self-renewal genes and resisting demethylation, highlighting IL1 signaling as a potential target for early intervention in preleukemic disorders. 000043391 540__ $$fCC BY 000043391 542__ $$fPublic domain 000043391 650__ $$aClonal Hematopoiesis$$013302 000043391 650__ $$aHematopoiesis$$020014 000043391 650__ $$aInflammation$$020800 000043391 6531_ $$aInflammation 000043391 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000043391 692__ $$aDepartment of Cell, Developmental and Cancer Biology$$041399 000043391 7001_ $$aMcClatchy, John$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$10000-0001-5531-6115 000043391 7201_ $$aAgarwal, Anupriya$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$10000-0001-8678-0519$$eAcademic advisor$$7Personal 000043391 8564_ $$94ee4ac87-f2bb-4791-84f3-572e6b3f5824$$s4048283$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/43391/files/McClatchy.John.2024.pdf 000043391 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:43391$$pstudent-work 000043391 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations 000043391 981__ $$aPublished$$b2024-06-17
