In Oregon, rates of PMD are purportedly higher than they are nationally. Since the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, rates of PMD have increased while the number of mental health providers and community resources dwindled. In 2023, practice guidelines were updated to include the new recommendation that pregnant patients should now be screened for an additional time during the third trimester. However, clinics are lagging behind these updated recommendations and as a result are struggling in their timely detection and treatment of PMD. The aim of this project is to increase detection of PMD during the third trimester and improve provider comfortability with managing PMD in an ambulatory prenatal clinic in a suburb outside of Portland, Oregon. 000043404 540__ $$fCC BY 000043404 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000043404 650__ $$aMood Disorders$$032027 000043404 650__ $$aMidwifery$$022307 000043404 650__ $$aPregnancy$$024523 000043404 650__ $$aPregnancy Trimester, Third$$024538 000043404 650__ $$aPostpartum Period$$036216 000043404 650__ $$aWorkflow$$038890 000043404 650__ $$aHealth Resources$$019902 000043404 651__ $$aOregon$$041094 000043404 651__ $$aOregon--Portland$$041692 000043404 6531_ $$aperinatal mood disorder 000043404 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000043404 692__ $$aCenter for Women’s Health$$041389 000043404 7001_ $$aBalaguer, Emily$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000043404 7201_ $$aHam, Jen$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$eChair$$7Personal 000043404 7201_ $$aGiroux, Kristin $$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$eChair$$7Personal 000043404 8564_ $$9f538fd1b-6472-4362-a1b7-bc305c30197f$$s951573$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/43404/files/Balague.Emily.2024.pdf 000043404 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:43404$$pstudent-work 000043404 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations 000043404 981__ $$aPublished$$b2024-06-17
