Extensive epidemics in Egypt and Syria are recorded in the writings of Rufus of Ephesuo who lived one hundred years B. C.. Plague first entered the United States in 190O, an epidemic occurring in San Francisco. It was shown by investigation that the disease came from Honolulu where an epidemic was raging at that time. This gives us an idea of the importance of Plague to us on the Pacific Coast. 000043499 540__ $$fCC BY 000043499 542__ $$fPublic domain 000043499 650__ $$aPlague$$024220 000043499 650__ $$aPublic Health$$024885 000043499 651__ $$aNorthwestern United States$$041197 000043499 691__ $$aUO Medical School$$041362$$7(1915-1974)$$041362 000043499 692__ $$aUOMS Department of Bacteriology, Hygiene and Public Health$$043881 000043499 7001_ $$aAnderson, Earl M.$$uUniversity of Oregon$$041359 000043499 8564_ $$986b0b212-f60d-4796-b99b-86e8af04a373$$s1965778$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/43499/files/Anderson.Earl.1925.pdf 000043499 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:43499$$pstudent-work 000043499 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
