Because this constitutes the largest number of this type of case ever before handled by government hospitals, the problem of hospitalization and care of these men has been a difficult one. It involves specially equipped hospitals for their care, outside of corporate limits of cities, specially trained staffs of physicians, nurses and hospitalization over long periods of time. I will give a brief resume of the measures and changes which the government has found necessary for hospitalization and care of this type of case from the time of the war up to the present time. 000043518 540__ $$fCC BY 000043518 542__ $$fPublic domain 000043518 650__ $$aTuberculosis$$027470 000043518 650__ $$aPublic Health$$024885 000043518 650__ $$aHospitalization$$020335 000043518 650__ $$aGovernment$$019708 000043518 691__ $$aUniversity of Oregon.
