The combination of the BCL2 inhibitor, venetoclax, with a hypomethylating agent has recently become standard of care front-line therapy for patients who are unfit for high intensity induction chemotherapy and allogeneic stem cell transplantation. However, for patients who experience disease refractoriness/relapse, second line treatment options are limited. Natural killer (NK) cells have been shown to have potent anti-tumor effects in AML may represent a potential therapeutic option for patients with progression after venetoclax-based therapy. 000043584 540__ $$fCC BY 000043584 542__ $$fIn copyright - joint owners 000043584 650__ $$aInduction Chemotherapy$$039816 000043584 650__ $$aStandard of Care$$039491 000043584 650__ $$aLeukemia, Myeloid, Acute$$028432 000043584 650__ $$aKiller Cells, Natural$$021208 000043584 650__ $$aInterferons$$020914 000043584 650__ $$aHematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation$$030755 000043584 6531_ $$avenetoclax 000043584 6531_ $$aHLA-E antigens 000043584 6531_ $$aruxolitinib 000043584 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000043584 692__ $$aDivision of Hematology and Medical Oncology$$041461 000043584 7001_ $$aChandra, Daniel$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000043584 7001_ $$aBurns, Faith$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000043584 7001_ $$aKosaka, Yoko$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000043584 7001_ $$aKurtz, Stephen E.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000043584 7001_ $$aTyner, Jeffrey W.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000043584 7001_ $$aLind, Evan F.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000043584 7001_ $$aSaultz, Jennifer N.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000043584 711__ $$aResearch Week$$uOregon Health and Science University$$d2024 000043584 8564_ $$94077fb3f-cd95-43d2-846f-7170e83ba190$$s257893$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/43584/files/ResearchWeek.2024.Chandra.Daniel.pdf 000043584 980__ $$aResearch Week
