      abstract = {When we look about us and see on all sides the great  masses of humanity that are merely existing at poverty  level with hunger, emaciation, misery, morbidity and  mortality on the one hand; and on the other, and abundance  of food, much of which is being wasted, and an oversupply  of those other commodities that make for the happy life, we  are faced with the question of causation and remedy. No  problem. Is to get at the bottom of the cause and by such  remedial measures. As are possible, furnish relief where  necessary and with emphasis on preventative measures, bring  out of this chaotic mass of seething humanity, in as far as  it is possible, a state of well-being. },
