000004542 520__ $$aA box containing 26 specimen slides for the microscope, donated by H.D. Belknap, M.D. The slides were created by his father, H.P. Belknap, M.D., while he was at the University of Michigan. The green cardboard box measures 9 x 16.5 x 3.5 cm, and slips into a green canvas-covered cardboard sleeve. The interior of the case is fitted with wooden slots to house slides, and the case lid is marked with the numbers 1-26. The set is in fair condition. NOTE: Collection severely damaged in October 2007.
