This quality improvement project evaluated the impact of a brief dermoscopy training session on internal medicine resident confidence and knowledge in skin lesion assessment. Following a one-hour educational intervention using validated dermoscopy algorithms, residents demonstrated substantially improved confidence and modest gains in knowledge. Findings suggest that structured dermoscopy education is feasible in residency training and may help address an important gap in primary care dermatologic assessment.
