This abstract summarizes a project examining how OHSU School of Dentistry (SOD) can develop a comprehensive dashboard to better monitor and manage clinic health. Through a review of healthcare dashboard and data governance literature, combined with interviews of internal and external stakeholders, the project found that clinic health is a multidimensional concept encompassing operational, financial, workforce, quality, patient experience, and educational performance measures. Key findings emphasized the importance of focusing on meaningful, actionable metrics; creating purpose-specific dashboards for operational and strategic needs; and establishing a formal data governance structure to ensure data quality, consistency, and accountability.
