This paper examines the prevalence, health risks, and contributing factors of adolescent e-cigarette use, with a focus on high school students in Alameda County, California. It reviews current evidence on the cardiovascular, pulmonary, and behavioral impacts of vaping and proposes evidence-based prevention strategies, including school-based education, peer and social media interventions, and stress management training to reduce e-cigarette use among adolescents.
