Percutaneous renal access is a complex and potentially lifesaving procedure. Methods: Phantoms were created to simulate renal calyces, peripelvic fat, renal parenchyma, and surrounding tissue. After the course, 100% of participants reported improved comfort in performing US-guided nephrostomy tube placement. The estimated cost was $7 (US) per model. 100% would recommend the course to a colleague.
