This quality improvement paper describes the development and implementation of a standardized gastric point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) workflow to improve aspiration-risk assessment in anesthesiology. The project introduced an Epic-based procedure note and imaging order to streamline documentation, image capture, billing, and future quality review.
