The Oregon Health & Science University Medical Scientist Training Program 2026 Retreat brought together students, faculty, staff, and other members of the physician-scientist community for a day of scientific presentations, mentorship, and community building. The abstract book includes the retreat agenda, information about the incoming student cohort and student leadership, speaker biographies, and abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Research topics include cancer biology, immunology, neuroscience, bioengineering, medical imaging, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, neurodevelopment, and translational medicine. The program features a keynote address by Gül Dölen on the neurobiology of psychedelics, critical periods, metaplasticity, and extracellular matrix remodeling, as well as leadership addresses and student research presentations.
