AB  - ca. 1910-1920?
AB  - An x-ray unit, donated by Adalbert G. Bettman, M.D., in April 1960. The unit is comprised of two pieces: a semi-portable generator in a wooden case, which also serves as a base for the unit, and the x-ray tube. Together, the unit measures 54 x 28.5 x 27 cm. The x-ray tube is similar to Macalaster, Wiggin Co.'s model for platinum target with medium sized coil. The generator case is fitted on one end with three electical circuit attachments, and a metal dial numbered 1-5. Atop the case are two metal tubes, one of which has a detachable cap covering an electric cord. The items are in good condition, although the tube is burned out, and the generator wiring is somewhat worn.
