  <ab>A collection of obstetric instruments in a leather roll, measuring 43.5 x 8.5 x 6 cm. The dark brown leather instrument roll is lined with chamois. The inner flap is stamped in gold with the manufacturers name. The roll contains: 1) ebony-handled vectis, 2) curved craniotomy forceps, similar to Meigs, 3) plain hook and crotchet, and 4) Smellies perforator, American pattern. The instruments and roll are in good condition. The kit was donated by G.L. Biggers, M.D., in June 1942.</ab>
