One such model is the health coaching paradigm. Focusing on health maintenance behaviors, health coaches may provide more attentive and timely help at a lower cost than traditional primary care models. Health coaches can be supported by internet technologies, allowing the coach to communicate with more participants than would be possible with in-person appointments. The Oregon Center for Aging and Technology Living Lab combines the health coach approach with information technology to deliver timely coaching interventions among an elderly population to promote cognitive health. The current study examines the usability of a client-facing interface using remote usability methods. An additional goal is to examine the feasibility of remote usability methods among an elderly population as well as to evaluate the usability of the interface. 000000498 540__ $$fCC BY 000000498 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000000498 650__ $$aMedical Informatics$$021938 000000498 650__ $$aFeasibility Studies$$018922 000000498 650__ $$aAged$$014351 000000498 650__ $$aQualitative Research$$034737 000000498 650__ $$aCognition$$016868 000000498 650__ $$aInformation Technology$$012134 000000498 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000000498 692__ $$aDepartment of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology$$041422 000000498 7001_ $$aYu, Chia-Hua$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000000498 7201_ $$aJimison, Holly$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$7Personal$$eAdvisor 000000498 8564_ $$90e7589ff-8d73-4a0f-b9f6-d2184bbc09a7$$s829116$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/498/files/499_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$294b17757c18727448dd7b817655d0aad$$31 000000498 905__ $$a/rest/prod/0r/96/73/75/0r9673755 000000498 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:498$$pstudent-work 000000498 980__ $$aBiomedical Informatics
