This study examined symptoms, their relationship to physical function, and the moderating effects of age and comorbidity in adults aged 50 and older. Participants completed a 29‑item FM symptom scale, the Late-Life Function & Disability Instrument, and the Charlson Comorbidity Index. This cross-sectional analysis identified patterns of symptom burden and their association with perceived physical function, providing insight to inform multi‑modal interventions aimed at preserving independence in older adults with FM. 000000503 540__ $$fCC BY 000000503 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000000503 650__ $$aFibromyalgia$$019029 000000503 650__ $$aAged$$014351 000000503 650__ $$aExercise$$028419 000000503 650__ $$aPain$$023476 000000503 650__ $$aComorbidity$$028727 000000503 650__ $$aSymptom Burden 000000503 650__ $$aCross-Sectional Studies$$017206 000000503 650__ $$aMiddle Aged$$022303 000000503 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000000503 7001_ $$aShillam, Casey$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000000503 7201_ $$aDupree Jones, Kim$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$7Personal$$eChair 000000503 8564_ $$9252dc20b-eee1-4669-b066-8d46f8721e60$$s1115504$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/503/files/504_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$295ff0eb3f812f25bfd158dda112f3956$$31 000000503 905__ $$a/rest/prod/70/79/57/67/70795767w 000000503 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:503$$pstudent-work 000000503 956__ $$aGet Accessible Copy$$uhttps://ohsu.libwizard.com/f/requestaccessibledocument 000000503 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
