TY - THES AB - Optical micro‑angiography (OMAG) is a high‑resolution, label‑free imaging technique capable of resolving 3D blood perfusion at 10 μm within living microvascular beds. By separating static and moving light‑scattering components, OMAG provides detailed in vivo maps of microcirculatory flow without contrast agents. We applied OMAG to visualize cerebral microcirculation in adult mice through the intact skull and used it to assess cerebrovascular perfusion during and after induced stroke. Comparing mice treated with tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) or vehicle, OMAG revealed that tPA markedly improved reperfusion rate and blood volume in the affected hemisphere, correlating with better behavioral recovery and survival.
