By separating static and moving light‑scattering components, OMAG provides detailed in vivo maps of microcirculatory flow without contrast agents. We applied OMAG to visualize cerebral microcirculation in adult mice through the intact skull and used it to assess cerebrovascular perfusion during and after induced stroke. Comparing mice treated with tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) or vehicle, OMAG revealed that tPA markedly improved reperfusion rate and blood volume in the affected hemisphere, correlating with better behavioral recovery and survival. 000000518 540__ $$fCC BY 000000518 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000000518 650__ $$aInfarction$$020789 000000518 650__ $$aCerebral Angiography$$016355 000000518 650__ $$aCerebral Arteries$$016358 000000518 650__ $$aMiddle Cerebral Artery$$032678 000000518 650__ $$aTissue Plasminogen Activator$$024249 000000518 650__ $$aAngiography$$014747 000000518 6531_ $$atpa 000000518 6531_ $$amcao 000000518 6531_ $$amiddle cerebral artery occlusion 000000518 6531_ $$aomag 000000518 6531_ $$aoptical microangography 000000518 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000000518 692__ $$aDepartment of Biomedical Engineering$$041397 000000518 7001_ $$aHurst, Sawan$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000000518 7201_ $$aWang, Ruikang$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$7Personal$$eAdvisor 000000518 8564_ $$9a432e3a1-7c32-4059-af42-daabafe9d82c$$s24740043$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/518/files/519_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$2accb37198c44d491ef7ea5130431728d$$31 000000518 905__ $$a/rest/prod/gf/06/g2/66/gf06g2664 000000518 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:518$$pstudent-work 000000518 956__ $$aGet Accessible Copy$$uhttps://ohsu.libwizard.com/f/requestaccessibledocument 000000518 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
