Building on the previous work of Dr. Francis Lau, a database schema and associated matching algorithms were developed and tested. A methodology of recommended matching steps was defined and tested against three different problem list datasets. Associated results and metrics were recorded and areas for improvement and future research were identified. The tools and methodology developed during the project were found to be effective in the mapping of diverse problem list datasets to the SNOMED CT terminology. 000000581 540__ $$fCC BY 000000581 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000000581 650__ $$aSystematized Nomenclature of Medicine$$034929 000000581 650__ $$aAlgorithms$$014437 000000581 650__ $$aMedicine$$021959 000000581 650__ $$aVocabulary, Controlled$$031160 000000581 650__ $$aMedical Records Systems, Computerized$$029086 000000581 650__ $$aTerminology as Topic$$022987 000000581 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000000581 692__ $$aDepartment of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology$$041422 000000581 7001_ $$aEmch, Jeffrey$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000000581 7201_ $$aLogan, Judith$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$7Personal$$eAdvisor$$eMentor 000000581 8564_ $$920f941a4-2ea1-4d46-a9be-775ae131c231$$s410178$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/581/files/582_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$201778cb40e1bed98e7bf96984f602bf3$$31 000000581 905__ $$a/rest/prod/9p/29/09/36/9p290936c 000000581 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:581$$pstudent-work 000000581 980__ $$aBiomedical Informatics
