In the developing world, their use has increased substantially in the last decade. To use these tools effectively, there must be some training and education made available to those working with the tools. Several examples of international collaborations have been created to develop curricula and the means of delivery to meet the needs of the eHealth workforce in developing countries. Many ongoing projects have common traits that help in ensuring the success of any training initiative. Eleven international collaborations were analyzed for this paper and seven prevalent characteristics of the partnerships and training programs were identified as instrumental to the success of the eventual education program. 000000590 540__ $$fCC BY 000000590 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000000590 650__ $$aCapacity Building$$038893 000000590 650__ $$aInformatics$$036046 000000590 650__ $$aDeveloping Countries$$017657 000000590 650__ $$aInformation Science$$020805 000000590 650__ $$aTelemedicine$$029784 000000590 6531_ $$aehealth 000000590 6531_ $$aorganizational change 000000590 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000000590 692__ $$aDepartment of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology$$041422 000000590 7001_ $$aVanderhoef, JoAnna$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000000590 7201_ $$aHersh, William$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354$$7Personal$$eAdvisor 000000590 8564_ $$91114a818-15e4-4810-bba0-b3e086adad3f$$s355730$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/590/files/591_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$2b693fde6a003bb56f202ab9bc34ae606$$31 000000590 905__ $$a/rest/prod/3t/94/5q/80/3t945q80c 000000590 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:590$$pstudent-work 000000590 980__ $$aBiomedical Informatics
