Aging is the primary risk factor, and demographic trends predict a dramatic rise in AD prevalence as the U.S. population aged ≥65 doubles by 2030. In Oregon, growth of the elderly population will exceed 50% between 2010 and 2020, further increasing AD risk. Combined with the absence of effective preventive strategies and the burden on caregivers, these trends underscore AD as a major public health concern requiring urgent attention and intervention.}, url = {http://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/628}, doi = {https://doi.org/10.6083/M4QF8QVR}, }
