Prior studies suggest that weight gain may be associated with worsening visual outcomes in IIH. This study describes a population of women diagnosed with IIH and examines the relationship between body weight in the year preceding diagnosis and the severity of visual field deficits at presentation. Understanding this association may help clarify the role of weight changes in disease progression and inform earlier clinical management strategies for individuals at risk of vision loss. 000000699 540__ $$fCC BY 000000699 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000000699 650__ $$aPseudotumor Cerebri$$024812 000000699 650__ $$aVisual Fields$$027862 000000699 650__ $$aObesity$$023118 000000699 650__ $$aBody Weight$$015708 000000699 650__ $$aVision Disorders$$027855 000000699 650__ $$aDisease Progression$$030807 000000699 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000000699 7001_ $$aBaldwin, Maureen$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000000699 8564_ $$94cbbca17-9eda-4b67-8600-d8fb2fdf6310$$s1027756$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/699/files/700_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$2a81875524edfbb88a62fa34afc027a91$$31 000000699 901__ $$a<p>These documents are archival records.
