This study analyzed PMVCs along primary arterials in Clark County, Washington (2007–2009) using retrospective sampling and logistic regression. Locations with higher transit utilization had greater odds of nearby collisions (OR = 1.24 per 10,000 monthly passengers; 95% CI: 1.06–1.43). Sidewalks, high-volume intersections, and supermarkets were also associated with collision sites, while walkability scores were not predictive after adjustment. Findings suggest transit stop activity is a key factor in PMVC risk, warranting targeted safety interventions. 000000708 540__ $$fCC BY 000000708 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000000708 650__ $$aMotor Vehicles$$031258 000000708 650__ $$aAccidents$$011051 000000708 650__ $$aWalking$$028911 000000708 650__ $$aWounds and Injuries$$028003 000000708 650__ $$aEnvironment Design$$018488 000000708 650__ $$aEnvironment and Public Health$$018487 000000708 650__ $$aBuilt Environment$$012595 000000708 650__ $$aPedestrians$$011481 000000708 650__ $$aRetrospective Studies$$025415 000000708 650__ $$aHuman 000000708 650__ $$aAccidents, Traffic$$011055 000000708 651__ $$aWashington$$041180 000000708 651__ $$aWashington (State)--Clark County$$044804 000000708 6531_ $$atraffic 000000708 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000000708 692__ $$aDepartment of Public Health and Preventive Medicine$$041444 000000708 7001_ $$aBunker, Kendra$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000000708 8564_ $$96e2d2a88-0908-4f7c-8100-1019f644bc09$$s710565$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/708/files/710_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$2f1b17ee68198897dbf4929b96e421d52$$31 000000708 905__ $$a/rest/prod/w9/50/50/47/w9505047s 000000708 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:708$$pstudent-work 000000708 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
